01Warning Signs

Signs your roof needs attention.

Catching a roof problem early usually means a smaller repair and less damage inside your home.

Water stains on ceilings or walls

Often the first visible sign of a leak, even when the source is several feet away.

Damp or musty attic

Moisture, darkened decking or wet insulation in the attic points to water entry.

Missing or lifted roofing

Wind can lift or remove shingles and tiles, exposing the underlayment.

Damaged flashing or sealant

Cracked, loose or rusted flashing around chimneys, vents and walls.

Granules in gutters

Excess shingle granules can indicate wear and an aging roof surface.

Leaks after storms

A roof that only leaks in wind-driven rain often has a flashing or transition issue.

02Roof Repair Services

Every leak has a source.

Water often travels before it shows up inside, so the stain on your ceiling is rarely where the roof is failing. We start with the roof, not the symptom.

Roof replacement is covered on our Residential Roofing page. Repair recommendations are based on what we find on your roof, and we will tell you when a repair is no longer the right investment.

The stain on your ceiling is rarely where the leak is.

Water travels along framing, insulation and underlayment before it shows up inside. That is why every repair starts with tracing the source.

05Questions

Roof repair FAQs.

Answers for homeowners dealing with a roof leak or storm damage.

How do you find where a roof leak is coming from?

We inspect the interior and attic for moisture trails, then examine the roof surface, flashing, penetrations and transitions above that area. Water often travels along framing, so the source can be several feet from the stain.

Can my roof be repaired, or does it need to be replaced?

Many leaks can be repaired. If the roof is near the end of its service life or damage is widespread, we will explain why replacement may be the better investment and show you what we found.

Do you repair storm damage?

Yes. We assess and document storm-related damage, provide temporary protection when needed, and complete permanent repairs. Our documentation can be shared with your insurance carrier.

What is flashing and why does it fail?

Flashing is the metal or membrane detail where the roof meets walls, chimneys, skylights and vents. It can loosen, corrode or lose its seal over time, which makes it one of the most common leak sources.

Do you offer roof condition assessments?

Yes. A roof condition assessment documents the overall state of your roof, problem areas and recommended repairs, which is helpful before buying, selling or planning maintenance.
