01Applications

Floors that work as hard as your facility.

Every commercial floor has a job to do. We start with how the space is used, including traffic, equipment, chemicals, cleaning and downtime, then recommend a system built for it.

Warehouses & distribution

Floors built for forklift traffic, racking, loading areas and constant use.

Manufacturing & production

Systems selected for impact, abrasion and the chemicals present in the space.

Automotive & service bays

Durable, cleanable floors for shops, service areas and fleet facilities.

Retail & showrooms

Seamless, finished floors for customer-facing and back-of-house areas.

Garages & common areas

Coated floors for commercial and multifamily garages, corridors and storage.

Mechanical & utility rooms

Protective, easy-to-clean floors for equipment and service spaces.

02Services

Four specialties. One flooring partner.

From new epoxy installations to restoring the floors you already have, every system is matched to your facility’s operating conditions.

01

Industrial & Commercial Epoxy Flooring

High-build epoxy systems that create a seamless, durable surface for demanding commercial and industrial floors.

  • Warehouse and manufacturing facility floors
  • Commercial and industrial epoxy systems
  • Durable, application-specific floor finishes
02

Resinous & Specialty Floor Coatings

Polyurethane, polyaspartic and other resinous systems for floors that need UV stability, abrasion resistance or a fast return to service.

  • Polyurethane and polyaspartic systems
  • Commercial resinous flooring
  • Specialty coatings suited to the facility’s operating conditions
03

Concrete Coatings & Surface Restoration

Proper preparation and compatible repairs that restore damaged concrete and give coatings a sound surface to bond to.

  • Concrete surface preparation
  • Compatible concrete repair and resurfacing
  • Protective concrete coating applications
04

Commercial Floor Maintenance & Restoration

Assessment-driven rehabilitation that extends the life of existing coated floors and keeps maintenance budgets predictable.

  • Existing coating rehabilitation
  • Floor recoating and restoration
  • Condition assessments and maintenance planning

We install only the systems we are qualified and appropriately licensed to apply. Specific manufacturer systems are recommended based on your project’s conditions and requirements.

03Inside the System

Performance is built layer by layer.

A floor coating is a system, not a single product. Select a system to see how it’s typically assembled, and hover a layer to see what it does.

Simplified, typical build-ups for illustration. Final systems depend on testing, substrate conditions and manufacturer requirements.

    04Choosing a System

The right chemistry for the right floor.

Epoxy, polyurethane and polyaspartic each have strengths. Many floors combine them, such as an epoxy base with a urethane or polyaspartic topcoat.

    05Our Process

    Preparation first. Performance follows.

Most floor coating failures trace back to preparation or the wrong system. Our process is built to prevent both.

    01

    Site assessment

Floor condition, use, traffic, chemicals and existing coatings evaluated on site.

    02

    Testing

Moisture, adhesion and substrate testing where the system requires it, documented.

    03

    System & scope

A written scope with the recommended system, preparation, phasing and terms.

    04

    Prep & install

Mechanical preparation and repairs, then installation to the manufacturer’s requirements.

    05

    Care & maintenance

Closeout documentation, care guidance and a plan for future recoating.

    06Clear Commitments

    Everything that matters, in writing.

No blanket promises. Your scope, system and coverage are defined in your proposal and the applicable manufacturer documentation.

    Defined scope

Preparation method, system, areas and phasing spelled out before work begins.

    Written warranty terms

Coverage is stated in your written warranty and any applicable manufacturer warranty, never implied.

    Phased around operations

Work planned around your schedule, access and cure times to limit downtime.

    07Questions

    Commercial epoxy flooring FAQs.

Answers for facility managers, owners and property managers planning a flooring project.

What’s the difference between epoxy, polyurethane and polyaspartic floor coatings?

Epoxy builds thickness and bonds strongly to concrete, so it’s often used as the base of a system. Polyurethane and polyaspartic are typically used as UV-stable, wear-resistant topcoats, and polyaspartic cures quickly. Many commercial floors combine them.

How long does a commercial epoxy floor installation take?

It depends on the floor area, preparation, repairs and the system selected. We provide a schedule with your written scope and can phase the work to keep areas of your facility operating.

Do you test the concrete before coating?

Where the system requires it, yes. Moisture and surface conditions in the slab affect adhesion, so testing helps determine the right preparation, primer and system.

Can you coat over an existing floor coating?

Sometimes. If the existing coating is well bonded and compatible, it may be prepared and recoated. Failed or incompatible coatings are removed first. An on-site assessment determines which applies.

Can work be done around our operations?

Yes. We plan phasing, access and cure times with your team to limit disruption, including off-hours work where needed.

    What warranty do you provide?

Warranty coverage depends on the system and project and is defined in your written proposal, Summit’s written warranty terms and any applicable manufacturer warranty.

    Where do you work?
